There’ll be another season along in a minute

Rain near Lackavrea from John Smyth on Vimeo.

Rain passing over the Maumturks between Maam Cross and Maam yesterday. Video made with Canon G9 set to timelapse mode (takes a frame every 2 seconds). I was near Lackavrea mountain to photograph something else and left the G9 sitting on a rock to video the weather [that's me in the first second or two of the video, sorting out the rest of my camera gear ]. It didn’t take long before I had to stop the video before the camera got washed away by the rain.

  1. Summer in Ireland, not to be missed……

I suppose we’ll appreciate it when (if) it arrives, nice work John.

  2. That was really cool. I really enjoyed watching it, and pausing and re-starting it at different intervals. Very pretty scenery.
