From the Prom to the Burren


A view of Galway Bay taken from Salthill Promenade. In the foreground, sea-polished stones reflecting the dusk. In the distance, the hills of the Burren.
This is a long exposure, probably around 10-12 seconds, taken with a Canon 5D and a Canon 17-40mm wideangle lens, on a tripod and using a remote shutter release to minimize camera shake.

    I really like the new layout! Much cleaner and nicer and the pics look better in this size too!

    I love the look you achieve with the long exposure. It creates a lovely foggy, magical, mysterious feel. Perfect!
    The new layout compliments your pictures nicely.
