Frozen in time
When climbing in the Maumturks during the cold weather, the main challenge wasn’t the air temperature. Instead, it was the ice – Corcog was full of little streams that had frozen. The ice was hard enough that you couldn’t get a boot through it, so the bast way was just to avoid it. Assuming you could see it under frost or snow in the first place….
