The Pilot boat moored beside the Lock Gates in Galway Harbour. The picture was taken with a large zoom lens which ‘compresses’ the view, and makes the beacon and fields in the background appear quite close.
It’s been a long time since the webcam included the wee Pilot cottage or the lock…I’ve missed seeing it; and of course I’ve not seen it from this angle.
