Powerboats in Galway

Powerboats manoeuvre around buoys in Galway Bay on a beautiful sunny morning, as part of the Galway Powerboat Festival. In the background is the Burren, shimmering in the heat. The object on the skyline above the yellow buoy is an old stone fort called Cathair Dhuin Irghuis (visible also in this picture)
