Poppies in Galway
One of my surviving poppies in my back garden in Galway city. Photographed with a 180mm Sigma macro lens. The petal has folds in it, which is why parts of the image is out of focus (though pleasingly so).

Wow! I love it. Shame you’re in it though
Could this be considered a self-portrait?
lovely shot, stands out from the ’standard’/boring flower shots.
What lens shot with?
It’s shot with a Sigma macro lens. It’s really the light that makes it special – it gave a beautifully contrasty feel to the image.
