Snow to the shore
Snow on the shoreline near the diving board at the end of Salthill Promenade in Galway, pictured early yesterday morning. Freezing fog has caused the temperature to drop down to minus 5 Celcius at night. Unlike the east coast (and north Mayo), there has been relatively little snow in Galway over the last couple of days.The cold snap is predicted to continue for the rest of the week.
