Westport by night
Strictly speaking, this is Westport in Co. Mayo in the morning – around 7am on December 20th, under an almost full moon. It was freezing cold – probably around -10 Celcius. By the time I passed back through the town later that afternoon, the river was nearly completely frozen.
Strolled along here in much better weather…lovely town, if a bit touristy for me, but very pleasant in early spring. Had a great evening in the Railroad Pub…years back.
