I think that this statue, by the bridge over the river Shannon in Carrick-on-Shannon in Co. Leitrim, has been moved since I took this picture a couple of years ago.
I have a photo of the statue…in the background is a building I think…with Emerald Star painted on it…must find that pic…I don’t remember the statue being in the open as much as it appears here. But I think it’s really beautiful.
