I had great plans for photographing a particular set of conifers in tree plantation in east Galway when they were wearing their autumn colours. But the flooding and the foul weather made the trees inaccessible, and the winds blew all of the pine needles off. So this picture, taken a few weeks ago, will have to suffice.</p>
