Autumn colour on the Autograph Tree in Coole Park, ignited by the morning light. The autograph tree, a huge old beech, bears the initials of many famous members of the Irish literary scene a century ago, including O’Casey, Shaw, Yeats, Hyde and Lady Gregory, carved by the writers themselves.
