I planted out some young cabbages during the week. Though I’m fond of it as a food, these vegetables are not intended for my dinner plate. I’ve sowed them for the benefit of Large White/Cabbage White butterflies (Pieris brassicae / Bánóg Mhór), and even I was potting them, a butterfly landed on one of the cabbage plants to check it out.
