Halcyon Days

The missus, striking a pose on top of the diving board in Salthill this morning (ok, I might have nagged her to do it).

In Greek mythology, the halcyon days were a period of calm and no storms, around the time of the winter solstice, which occurs tomorrow. Every morning this week has begun with a dramatic sunrise over Galway Bay, and hopefully, there will be a few more to see, as we approach Christmas morning.
