I posted about my peas back in May. The firs pods aare ready for picking now, so I’ve been eating them for the last week (and there should be another couple of weeks of harvesting left in them). It is particlarluy satisfying to walk down to the back of the garden and pick delicious (and organic) food that I’ve grown myself. As an added bonus, the sweetpeas are in flower now. So everytime I lean in to pick a pea pod, I get a loverly whiff of scent from the sweetpea flowers. A feast for all the senses.
