Purple haze

October is heading to a close, but the temperature hasn’t dropped too much. Ther eare still some bees and wasps flying about, and there are also some flowers around to feed them. Just over my back wall, a telephone pole is festooned with ivy which is a great source of food late in the year. My toadflax plants are beginning to fade, but there are still some blossoms. And the verbana is still flowering (and attracting critters). Both photographed last Sunday afternoon.
