Spring is here and so is the frogspawn

A quick search online tells me that people have been sighting clumps of future tadpoles since the beginning of the year. I spotted my first frogspawn of 2018 in Connemara National Park today. if you do spot some, be sure to let the Irish Peatland Conservation Council know (by filling out the survey available on this page). Their vigilance is the last line of defence against our reptilian overlords – all hail the Hypnotoad!
