It was fairly wild at the diving board at Salthill Promenade in Galway this morning. By high tide at mid-morning, the vast majority of swimmers had decided to stay out of the water, though there was plenty of spectators to watch the waves and spray sweeping over the diving board. It was also a good opportunity for me to use the waterproof housing for one of my cameras. Alas, my own waterproofing wasn’t so good – I got drenched.
