It was a warm, clear day on Sunday, and just right for hiking. The picture above shows hikers on the top of Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park, with Inishbofin island in the background (17 kilometres away). I was hiking between Log an Tairbh (Logatarriff) and Binn Fhaoigh (Benfree) on the  way to Binn Bhán (Benbaun), the highest of the Twelve Bens.

A wide view of Connemara National Park, with the Western Bens on the left, Ben Brack (Binn Bhreac)in the foreground (right) and Diamond Hill in the distance (Tully Hill  is visible behind it).
