A bridge too far – the People Build bridge looked a bit worse for wear in the early morning fog earlier.
The Galway International Arts Festival is underway, so there’s lots of things happening around the city. One of the events, the People Build, involves a large number of people coming together to build something quickly even if it is a bit rickety. Hmm, come to think of it, maybe that doesn’t just happen during the festival. Last year, the People Build recreated a bit of NUIG and this year, we got St. Nicholas’ church and a bridge. The bridge looked great yesterday evening on its way out, but looked a bit broken early this morning (much like the rest of us on a Saturday night, then).
