First of all, congratulations to the finalists in the Photoblog category of the Irish Blog awards this Saturday – Rónan Palliser, Nathalie Marquez Courtney, Red Mum and Day516.com. Four different styles but one thing in common – all great photographers [For readers of the Galway Advertiser, Rónan took all those great pictures of the Volvo Ocean Race last year that appeared as a pictorial in the paper.] There’s a photowalk starting at 11am this morning  in Eyre Square by the fountain [and anyone with a camera is welcome]. It looks like there will be quite a few photographers there – it will be interesting to see Galway through their eyes [and their pictures].
