The sun rising between Letterbreckaun and Knocknahillion mountains in the Maumturk mountain range in Connemara. A huge wall of fog had risen on the other side of the Maumturks – you can just about see Tonalee mountain in the middle and part of the Devil’s Mother in the background. The picture was taken at 05.50am on a warm summer morning a couple of weeks ago from Derryclare mountain – part of the Twelve Bens.
Exquisite! No need for many words to describe the scene and the quality of the photography.
