Near the village of Bridewell in Co. Roscommon, the M6 motorway west of Athlone is still under construction. But just round the corner from the construction site, the countryside looks as peaceful as ever. This picture was taken last week when it was mild and overcast in Galway city but clear and frosty in the midlands.
