The oil tanks overlooking the Galway Docks have been removed – the last of them were taken down today. You can a see a bigger version of the picture above here (that’s the Celtic Explorer moored near where the tanks used to stand).
I’ve also updated this post, which showed a tank-by-tank account of the removal.
