The early bird gets the worm, so the saying goes. Early-rising fishermen also a need for worms, though it’s not good news for the worms. It’s a little over six years since I first encountered this jetty on the shore of Lough Graney in Co. Clare (when I took this picture). I hadn’t been back to the jetty since. Yesterday morning, the lake was covered with fog until nearly midday. I haven’t had an opportunity to go on a photographic ‘expedition’ since August 2012, when I began a night-time college course. Now that the course is done, it is good to get back to taking pictures, and where better to start than somewhere as scenic as Lough Graney ?
