A photo-montage of the lunar eclipse that took place last night. Last night’s moon was a super moon, meaning that the moon was closer than normal and looked bigger in the sky, though not so much that you’d notice (unless you were a werewolf or an astronomer). What was noticeable was the higher-than-usual tide yesterday, though there is a higher one scheduled for tonight. Best of all, it was a warm night with a clear sky all night long, which is as rare an occurrence in Galway as a supermoon lunar eclipse.
