Further up the road from where I took yesterday’s picture, there was a man dressed as a leprechaun peddling a huge tricycle slowly but surely along the Lough Inagh valley road. It was apparently in aid of a hospital, and there was a chance that he would end up in one himself, given that he was cycling on the wrong side of the road for all the time that I saw him.
The charity (and presumably the cyclist) is Jimmy Mee’s Dublin to Poland Cycle in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin, so I’m presuming that Jimmy was only practising when I saw him (otherwise, he is really taking the long way round).
