Roughly the same view of Clew Bay taken just 5 years apart. Both pictures were taken from roughly the same spot – the top of Croagh Patrick mountain, facing north, with the church directly behind me.
The picture at the bottom was taken on the afternoon of June 3rd, 2007 when the tide was out. The picture on top was taken just before midnight on August 11th this year, when the tide was in. The red and green dots of lights in the top picture are the port and starboard running lights of boats moored in the bay.
