Horses don’t like buttercups, so they must be well sick of them by now. Horses won’t eat buttercups, so naturally the flowers thrive in paddocks or fields where horses are kept . Is it just me, or does it seem like there are far more ‘fields of gold’ this year than others? This picture of a foal in a field of buttercups was taken a few weeks ago near Elphin in Co. Roscommon.
