On a cold and windy morning 2 years ago today, we drove home to Galway from Donegal. We’d travelled up for a hiking weekend in Ardara, but events were to overtake us. The first day was a rain-soaked trudge, and the route had been changed to minimise the amount of time that people spent on the bus. But that evening in the hotel, we watched the news and decided to return home.
Hopefully, we’ll get back to Donegal soon to walk the hills again, but for now, Covis-19 isn’t done with us yet.
