Some of the rain over Mayo last weekend fell on the Sheeffry Hills, tumbled down the mountains to fill the Glenlaur river (pictured above). The river eventually joins the Erris river, descends over Aasleagh Falls and joins the sea at Killary harbour, where it returns again as rainclouds, to begin the journey again.
