Slowly but surely, the promised heatwave is heading west. It was misty and cloudy in Connemara today, though very very warm and clammy. In the next couple of days, the temperature is predicted to rise to 26 or 27 degrees Celsius. Great for saving turf, but even better if you can avoid the bog altogether.
