Valentine’s Day

Are you ready for the snow , asked the fishmonger at his stall in the Galway Market , as he sold me a beautifully fresh cod fillet and some scallops. Overhead, the sky was filling with cloud, and it really did feel like snow showers were on the way. In the end, there was no snow, and late last night, the sky cleared completely. Likewise, yesterday morning was a crispy frosty morning – the picture above was taken at sunrise at the Hill of Doon, on Lough Corrib.

Have a good Valentine Day – if it doesn’t work out, this song will probably help.

  1. Well it’s snowing again in Madrid, so it is getting harder to convince people of global warming, myself included.
