TG4 film-shoot beside the Hotel Meyrick in Eyre Square in Galway last night.
On my way out of the train station last night, I was stopped by a chap in a high-vis vest and a walkie-talkie. In the background, there was a police car, parked with the lights flashing. Had there been a bit of bother ?
Thankfully, no. It was a film-shoot for TG4. I don’t what the programme is, but I’d like to think it will be a hard-hitting police procedural, called perhaps “The Inspector drove a Fiesta”. Or, given it is TG4,”An bhfuil aon rud níos mó”.
