Dawn at Killary

Dawn at Killary
The Erriff river flows into Killary fjord after it has tumbled over Aasleagh Falls in Co.Mayo. At low tide , the head of the fjord is a mudflat but at high tide, it is sometimes a still lake. On the warm June morning last year when I took the picture above [with the midges eating me alive], the morning fog was just lifting, to reveal mirror-still water and a small fishing boat.
