Because of the restrictions last year, I had 3 weeks of vacation due at Xmas, so I used the time to create a wildlife pond in my back garden. It’s my first proper attempt to create a wildlife pond so I’m sure I’ve made lots of mistakes, but I’m happy enough with it so far. To prepare, I binge-watched lots of Joel Ashton videos on Youtube – he has created more than 100 wildlife ponds and his videos give step-by-step instructions on how to create a pond appropriate to the location – I’ve included one of his videos below.
