Storm Bella rolled over Galway last night, bringing high winds and heavy rain. It was peaceful (though cold) at Silver Strand at sunrise this morning (though it didn’t deter the swimmers). The rain returned by mid-morning, and most of the day has been wet and dark. Bella isn’t done yet – more rain adn wind is predicted for tonight.
