Ash buds bursting into life after the winter slumber in east Galway on Saturday.
I’m forty years of age, and I don’t think I’ve ever noticed just how beautiful is a bursting bud of ash, until I took this picture on Saturday morning.

They look like little clusters of pomegranate seeds. Gorgeous!
