Brigid’s Garden

Spooky
Now is a great time to go to Brigid’s Garden -everything is in full bloom, and as usual, there are quirky little discoveries to be made as you walk through the meadows and woodlands (like the character pictured above). Seeing them inspired me to put together the video clips that I shot there as a pretend trailer for a scary movie – the Gardens are the least scary place ever. Apologies for the movie [click here to see it] – I only had about 5 minutes of footage to begin with.

Photographers take note – the garden now has its own camera obscura – a lightproof shed save for a pinhole in the door. Once you go inside, and your eyes become accustomed to the darkness, you can make out the landscape outside projected against the far wall of the shed – upside down, of course.
