Brent Geese flying near Barna, Co. Galway.
While I was taking this picture, a flock of geese paddled over to the shore for a ..er… gander. However, as soon as I walked over to them at the waterline, they flew off, which is when I took the picture above.
John, you are just an incredible photographer. I love photos where the sun is low, because the textures stand out so much more, and with the reflections on water it is even more magical. Your timing here was just spot on. I probably would have taken about three dozen photos before getting something even remotely looking like this!
