I was sitting on the rocks at Salthill watching the speedboats zoom around Galway Bay , but I have to admit that I was more fascinated by the jellyfishes bobbing about in the water. This one was just below the surface and was just drifting in the current – every so often , the light would catch the filaments of – well, innards, – and it would glow in the water.
Gorgeous picture!
It looks a lot prettier than the gelatinous glops that used to come enmasse into the Chesapeake Bay when I lived on the Eastern shore of Maryland. Eeww, they were awful…but this looks like a Supah Star. *S* Lovely photo, John.
Envy at the clear water – from the land of the BP oil spill catastrophe.
