Never get used to the weather in Galway – it’s sure to change soon enough. Wednesday evening was sunny and warm. Yesterday was anything but. I got a right drenching walking out to Mutton Island on my daily walk in the morning – cold, driving rain that didn’t feel like summer at all. This picture was taken a month ago on a still and sunny morning, just as the sun emerged over the horizon.
