Mayo sheep

I went for a drive up to Lough Mask, along the edge of the Partry Mountains on Saturday. It was sheep-shearing time, which meant that one could expect to be caught up in a Mayo traffic jam (the top two pictures). Not all sheep get fleeced willingly. The sheep in the bottom picture managed to make a break for it, haring it down the road and forcing the farmer (and his dog) to go chasing after him – and then chase him back.
