Lightning striking the Burren Hills on the other side of Galway Bay this evening. There has been torrential rain all day, with thunder and lightning sweeping over the bay this evening.
The sky is completely lit up by the lightning over the Burren.
The lightning, the rain or the cold hasn’t deterred the night swimmers – who kept going long after I packed up and went home.
