Snow on the Burren hills

Driving to Salthill Promenade this morning, we were greeted with an unexpected sight – the Burren hills on the southern side of Galway Bay were covered in snow. The chilly conditions didn’t deter the swimmers, though it didn’t encourage them to linger in the water either.
