A storm called Frank is the latest to hit the west coast of Ireland this evening. It brought high winds and plenty of rain, but luckily, the tides are not at their highest at this time of year, so the flooding from the sea should be small. The flooding caused across the country from the rain will probably be a lot worse, however. This short video shows the waves slopping over the promenade this evening at around 7.30 (just before high tide).
