Galway now has two restaurants with a Michelin star – Aniar retained its star and Loam got one for the first time. Well done and I look forward to eating in both of them again. The picture above was taken in Aniar’s kitchen during a cooking class earlier this year (I was giving the staff a few tips…ok, it might have been the other way round), and it was the most fun I’d had in a kitchen since…well, the last time I got a cooking class from JP (in Cava).
