They taste a bit sharp but these blackberries will be fine in a pie. Though it is a bit early in the season for blackberries, the big tangle of bramble at the end of the garden is producing plenty of fruit (it’s also providing plenty of cover for the birds that frequent the garden). I’ve already filled 2 tubs of fruit for freezing, and hope to have quite a few more before the harvest ends.
