I have a raised flower bed in my back garden, the sides of which are wooden planks. I had to remove one of the planks to extend the bed, and it was amazing to see how many creatures were living underneath it. This beautiful reddish-brown creature is fairly common centipede, called a Common crytops (Cryptops hortensis).
