The cold weather isn’t over yet, with temperatures down to minus five predicted for tonight. The photo shows ice that formed in an inlet in Rusheen Bay, between Salthill and Barna. The ice formed on the grassy bank beside a tidal freshwater pool, and the pattern, which reminds me of fallen leaves, was formed when the water level receded as the tide went out.
