These colours don’t run. The pubs on Salthill Promenade open for business at high tide, while Storm Lorenzo passes over the city. It looks like Galway will not suffer too much. The sea level is low enough to prevent most of the waves from ‘slopping over’ onto the roads and into the buildings and car parks. The video below was recorded at high tide in Salthill this evening.
